Material Cutting

Wrayco's 1st Operations department is made up of two LVD High Speed Laser Processing Station Centers (pictured on the left) and a Hypotherm High Definition Plasma Cutter (pictured on the right). Our lasers are capable of cutting 5'x10' sheets of steel and are capable of positioning speeds of 6,700 IPM (inches per minute). Our Plasma Cutter is a highly versatile machine which we use to cut plate that is 1/2" thick or higher. These machines allow us to minimize scrap with high sheet utilization and improve quality through extremely accurate repeatable parts.
Robotic Welding

Wrayco currently owns 6 robotic welders from ABB and Fanuc. One of Wrayco's robots features a Sky hook tilt rotate positioner capable of holding parts weighing up to 3,000 lbs. Some of our robots also feature through the arc seam tracking. We also utilize a software called Weldpro which allows us to program our robots offline. Our robots help us to improve the efficency in our production and repeatability of the welds we put on our products.
Press Brakes

Wrayco currently runs press brakes ranging in sizes from 80 to 350 ton presses. Our brakes have a max bed size of 12' and have 18" of extra stroke giving them a total of 32". To maximize the accuracy of our parts we utilize Laser adapative forming and precision ground tooling. Our brakes give us the accuracy and flexibility we need to produce a quality product for our customers everytime.
Modular Tooling

We currently utilize Demmeler Modular Fixturing Systems for short run builds and prototypes. The flexibility provided by these tables is unmatched not to mention you don't have to sacrifice the accuracy provoided by hard tooling. Modular tooling is something we are continuing to research and is becoming more and more prevelent in our shop.
